Other Design Elements

  • Cutting board-Integrated or slots for drop-in cutting boards 
  • Trivet-Integrated into the countertop or slots for drop-in pot holders/trivets; perfectly placed next to a stove top, oven or grilling surface
  • Drain boards-Smooth, slanted spaces next to a farmhouse aprons sink or undermount sink where water can run back into the sink
  • Cut outs-Most often used for sinks, but consider incorporating cut outs in the countertop for trash receptacles making clean up quick and easy...a great addition to prep areas.
  • Reusable Sink Drain Molds-DCsurfaces two-part reusable drain mold (patent pending) is not just another knock-out.  DCsurfaces concrete sink drain mold will be available beginning May 1, 2009.  We are taking advance orders through the online store.
